They went on to develop a unique style that blended vocal harmonies with acoustic guitar. They perform mostly original music with an occasional specially chosen cover favorite. They have lived in England, across Canada, and currently make their home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Kathy is an accomplished guitarist, composer and lyricist, and Kay is the lead vocalist and composer/lyricist. They released their first CD entitled 2islandgirls in April of 2009 in the very famous, prestigious and beautiful Francis Winspear Center for the Arts in Edmonton. They continue to perform in Edmonton, Surrey, Burnaby, Winnipeg, Regina, Newfoundland and Barbados, and are recording their second CD which has a very strong emphasis on Caribbean and Island rhythms.
