Ciroc Pop, who has been rapping and battling since he was 12 years old, is amped to let the world hear his latest album, By Faith, created along with his New View group mates.
Ciroc is not a conventional rapper, citing artists like Otis Redding and The Whispers as his biggest musical influences. He loves hip hop, though and names Joe Budden, Beanie Sigel and Bone-Thugs-In-Harmony as his favorite rappers.
When asked to describe his musical sound, the NC native replies “I sound like poverty, hunger, ambition and determination.”
The statement exemplifies the work ethic and heart of Ciroc and New View Entertainment. They are about letting their reality bleed through the music, which gives their music an authenticity that is lacking in other Hip Hop acts, today.
With his latest work, By Faith, including singles like “Walking Testimony” and “Choppa Fie, “ Ciroc Pop is ready to prove that he can show you better than he can tell you.
