I was there to listen to industry execs and have my song critiqued on a listening panel by publishers and labels as well as music managers. my song
was really well received by the panel. when i was getting up to leave to guys approached me and my dad and said we would like to talk to you about a publishing deal. they went on to explain they wanted me to be a staff writer for their pub company. one was chrysalis and the other hitco/windswept (l.a reid's pub company. i was offered a deal on the spot by Hitco. at 15 i signed my first pub deal. at 21 i now have a catalog of 1200 songs. i have worked with some of the best songwriters in the world including Soundtrakk (grammy nom for most of lupe fiasco's songs) Michael jay (wrote "toy soldiers") Steve Dorff( "through the years" kenny rogers, Celine, streisand,Whitney, mariah) Young Yonny(2011 bmi songwriter of the year) and many more.
My songs have been on Csi, almost every Mtv show, showtime's The real L word, alloy entertainments "talent" and dozens more. my ultimate goal in music is to have my songs deliver great messages worldwide and help change, motivate and inspire with my music. i would like to win a grammy award as a writer and an artist. i have 2 wonderful managers, Craig Vinarsky with Limelight entertainment and MAx Gousse (sr vp island/defjam records)
