Gary's parents moved from Lebanon to California just before he was born in 1986. He speaks both English and Arabic. Growing up in a household where his parents listened to many different genres of music on a daily basis, Gary began to appreciate all kinds of music at a very young age. When he was about 8 years old, he found a CD that his dad had lying around that consisted of only instrumentals. He decided to sit down and write his first song. Gary then realized that making music was something he really loved to do. As he matured, his passion for music became immense. Gary loved music so much, he just never knew how to pursue it. Throughout high school he began producing music on a program called Fruity Loops. With the beats he produced, he would put his thoughts and feelings that he was afraid to express to anyone in his lyrics. Even though Gary had uplifting feedback from many, most of his material at the time was never really heard. A few years after he graduated, Gary met a couple producers who really encouraged him to get into the studio after hearing what he put together in previous years. That eventually led him to where he is today: a singer and songwriter of Lebanese descent growing up in a small town on the outskirts of Los Angeles. With sounds ranging from modern R&B/Pop to Arabic, Gary tries to reach a broad audience with a style out of the ordinary.
