With the help of an independent, non-profit record label, Sleepy Records, Acacia Sears released her debut album, Dialtones, in 2007. Her song writing has been compared to the emotive energy of Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, as well as the poetic intensity of Ani Difranco, and the sweetness of Lisa Loeb.
