Beginning with a vision that only felt like a dream, becoming an top hip hop artist, A-Fresh journey has been based on self perseverance, dedication, and good work ethics. He grew up the only child in a single parent household with his mother. Seeing his mother work hard towards success and enduring the hard times made him clinch on to something that he thought could help out (Music). His father wasn’t around. He grew up with male figures like his uncles and older cousins. At 12, A-Fresh started a group by the name of HardThrob Click. The group expanded throughout the streets of Jackson, MS. He began doing shows and getting the feel of how the life of being an artist was like. Blessed with a fresh flamboyant flow that had a gritty twist to his sound, he started to blossom from a group stand point. For six years, A-Fresh paid his dues by releasing ten mixtapes on his own with the help of collaboration artists. He started to create a buzz in 2005, which caught the eye of a major label. The major label situation didn’t go like he expected. So he went back to the drawing board. In 2006, he met James “Degreez” Mayweather, which who is a label owner, and producer. He also met two other guys by the name of Greg Pulliam and Julius Carter. Degreez and A-Fresh grew a music relationship that was unstoppable. Greg Pulliam and A-Fresh became good friends and great businessmen who wanted to achieve a lot throughout the Hip Hop Industry. Julius (J-Cal) and Mr. A -Fresh grew a good music relationship that pump hits redundantly. This is a small portion of the road of knowing Who Is A-Fresh.
