Beating on pots and pans and anything else that would make a sound or beat. His parents quickly realized that he had a talented gift. Drum set came next. Then piano at age 4. At age 6 he beganperforming in front of crowds of 2500 people. He was a big part in marching band in middle school along with the jazz band. There was no doubt about it, Alex Guinn was on the right track to becoming very succesfull in the music industry. At age 11 Alex Guinn met a guitarist. They teamed up and started their own original pop/punk band. Wanting to follow in Blink182 foot steps. Travis Barker was Alex Guinn's idol during the first stages of becoming one of the best drummers in the nation. Alex Guinn left school and finished his degree while touring across the nation. At age 14 the SAA nominated Alex Guinn Drummer of the Year. 2004. He has been featured in numerous Drum Magazines and also worked with OCDP. His drum technique was known as fast, tight, in the pocket, perfect tempo. This technique along with his crazy head banging gave him the nickname "ANIMAL" over the years. The band scene opened many connections and opportunities for him in the Music Industry. Alex then knew he needed to give a lot of thought as to what direction would be most prevelant for his career. With the many opportunities and record labels wanting to pursue him he felt that being signed would only dicate his direction and not allow him to fulfill is true potential as a artist. Since 2007 Alex Guinn has recorded and produced radio singles for majors artist. Working as writer/songwriter for major lables was great. But, now its time to have some fun and create the NEXT BIG SOUND.
