Born and raised in Crimea into a family of musicians.
Started learning and composing music at the age of 7.
Classically trained in Russia where earned his Masters Degree in music. Formed the progressive/fusion rock group "The Second Half".The band toured and performed in many venues, including the first officially sanctioned rock festival in the Soviet Union. The Second Half released an LP, “The Portrait," recorded with Melodia, a major record company in the Soviet Union. Also worked in collaboration with the Moscow rock band "Cardinal". Immigrated to the United States with his wife and daughter from the former USSR during the time of its collapse and began a new life in a new land.
His song “Paint the Rain” was selected as a Runner-Up in the Rock category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest of 2000. The instrumental composition “Good Times Forever” was selected in the UK Songwriting contest of 2002.
He continues mastering his music and also teaches music for a living. Currently lives in Virginia.
