Born and raised in Crimea into a family of musicians.
Started learning and composing music at the age of 7.
Classically trained in Russia where earned his Masters Degree in music. Formed the progressive/fusion rock group "The Second Half" and performed keyboards,vocals and flute touring and performing in many venues."The Second Half" auditioned and was asked to performed at the first officially sanctioned rock festival in the Soviet Union. The band recorded a successful long-play albumentitled "Portrait" at the "Melodia",the state-owned major record company of the Soviet Union in Saint-Petersburg. Also worked in collaboration with the Moscow rock band "Cardinal". Immigrated to the United States with his wife and daughter from the former USSR during the time of its collapse and began a new life in a new land.
His song “Paint the Rain” was selected as a Runner-Up in the Rock category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest of 2000. The instrumental composition “Good Times Forever” was selected in the UK Songwriting contest of 2002.
Currently lives in Virginia.
