With passion, desire and a great deal of motivation, DBoy (Ali Falah) is redefining Hip Hop in many ways. Born into a mixed culture family, an unsurpassed personality was inevitable. Comprehending both Western and Middle Eastern cultures has fabricated DBoy into a prominent figurehead. Growing up in a middle class society granted DBoy the opportunity to fathom life’s highs and low’s financially and pertain his experiences to personalities. Writing was never a spirited attribute amongst family, yet DBoy shows signs of being blessed with the ability to portray emotions, experiences and beliefs through his lyrics and music. Growing up prematurely was evident through DBoy’s childhood in virtue of poetry and cultivated literacy. A featureless up bringing gave DBoy the opportunity to exert himself throughout all areas sustainable to his music. While the average teenagers were congregating, DBoy was occupied with writings and music of not only his, but other former artists. High school exhibited the true potential of DBoy’s fascination. Assimilating the basics of musical instruments such as piano, keyboard, guitar, twin whistle that was intended to add depth and imagery to his writings and poetry. The Internet provided priceless positive and negative perspectives which elevated DBoy’s caliber seen as writing and music was second to none in Bahrain at the time. The discovery of other artists helped DBoy further perfect his compositions and present fresh ideas. In 2005, DBoy venture into the world of music production, becoming proficient in the basics of music production. Self-teaching was always the preferred method of deciphering new tools. As always DBoy was determined to grasp a firm grip around the concept of music production but was limited to a laptop and a built in computer microphone... Ever since then.. the music never stopped!
