I've been writing, recording, gigging (almost every venue in Glasgow and travels up and down motorways in the auld white van) for what seeems like etenity, I DJ'd at the hellraiser club in the barrowlands (mid to late 80's, me and MC Malkieboy gave the metal longhairs and punks a taste of Public Enemy and the then new hip-hop sounds) I also DJ'd at SHAKY where I brought Nick Cave and Killing Joke to the technoid sweat troops and at various free parties where I spun discs and jammed live ...

I've been writing, recording, gigging (almost every venue in Glasgow and travels up and down motorways in the auld white van) for what seeems like etenity, I DJ'd at the hellraiser club in the barrowlands (mid to late 80's, me and MC Malkieboy gave the metal longhairs and punks a taste of Public Enemy and the then new hip-hop sounds) I also DJ'd at SHAKY where I brought Nick Cave and Killing Joke to the technoid sweat troops and at various free parties where I spun discs and jammed live with an assortment of top Glasgow DJs. In the late 80's me and Franapunk opened Satellite studios at Charing cross in Glasgow, although not a money making success we had some great times and met some great people. I've played many instruments in many bands in many styles. (If I can hit something, twang something or make noises out of anything I will utilise it, including gas fires, hoovers, biscuit tins, old dansette record players, and the list goes on and on, ad nauseum), When I'm working on sounds on my own I really just jam with myself (ooh er missus) so most of my own tracks are first or second take (I don't believe in perfection...perfection is an echo of something beautiful) and I only start things off with a rough idea which usually morphs into something totally different. The STY is my little lab (kitchen) where I conjure up the sounds and dreams of my life on your strange little blue planet. Two of the bands I was in enjoyed a measure of success in the late 80's early 90's, The clan spamborskee and Zoomshanka, both bands gigging around the UK and getting radio play, press and record company attention. I Don't believe in listing things by genre, it's all just sounds anyway and when every damn thing on the planet is categorised how can we hope tae find the new?. My own stuff consists of song, electronic, ambient and experimental....skanked up, psychedelic, punk rock blues. My manifesto? I don't need one. Anarchy, peace, freedom and love from PIG, OINK OINK....PEACE....PIG OUT..... ;@)
