Originating from the south side of Atlanta, Georgia but hailing from all over the country, Alumni stands ready to fill the void in today's current hip-hop status. Comprised of 4 males & 1 female, this quintet's style and backgrounds are as diverse as they are talented. Georgia native, Otis “Youngin” Jefferson came to Atlanta from Augusta when he was young. His intricate style of flow brings necessary attention to lyricism for both the group and the industry as a whole. A “tech guru” behind the scenes, Youngin is the group's in-house engineer on top of writing, arranging and producing. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Brandon “Freshman” Carter has been in Atlanta since 2003. Known as the "Punch line King", he prides himself on his energetic style & well thought out lyricism. Freshman is also a writer, arranger and an apprentice to engineering. Darius “D-Jack” Jackson is from Tallahassee, Florida and is the skater of the group. He brings a fun and charismatic style to Alumni while managing to remain profound. As the self proclaimed gamer, he perfectly describes himself as “the bleeding heart in the broken armor”. Ture “Tantrum” Mackall is an Atlanta native that delivers versatility in styles ranging from harmonies to street savvy word-play. As a writer, producer, arranger, and engineer, he contributes to Alumni’s diversity with his own off set swagger. And last, but certainly not least, Christine “Brooklyn” Smith is the lady of Alumni who hails from Brooklyn, New York. Brooklyn brings the much needed femininity & sex appeal to the roster. She describes herself as a smooth and laid back lady. She represents for the females while holding it down for the men. Together they form an innovative group primed to hit the hip-hop scene and bring a much needed breath of fresh air to the industry.
