Amanda Band 5000 is the musical alter ego of Amanda Velte. Amanda started a passion for music at a tender age due to her parents always being in bands. At the age of 10 she joined the school band playing clarinet. By the age of 19 she ventured out to the piano and guitar and soon after started writing and recording her own music. In the early 2000's, Amanda studied music and performed and toured with 2 showchoirs playing bass guitar while she earned an AA in Liberal Arts. 7 Years later Amanda relocated to Seattle where she earned an A.A.A. in Audio Production at The Art Institute of Seattle. Soon in the near future Amanda plans on moving back to Kansas and starting a family Music Business.
