Formed in December 2010, Anchorage (formerly known as "A Breathless Fury") is a metal band based in Florence, Alabama. Originally, Parker Chambliss (drummer), Austin Redmayne (lead guitarist), and Collin McGukin (rhythm guitarist) were apart of another musical project based in Birmingham, Alabama that eventually fell through due to Parker's moving to attend college. Originally, Parker Chambliss (drummer), Austin Redmayne (lead guitarist), and Collin McGukin (rhythm guitarist) were apart of another musical project based in Birmingham, Alabama that eventually fell through due to Parker's moving to attend college. Upon arriving at the University of North Alabama, Parker met Bryan Massey (Vocalist) and decided to start a new band. The band consisted of Parker, Bryan, Austin, and Collin and was known as "A Breathless Fury". Soon after, Michael Carter was added to the band as the bassist. The name then was changed to Anchorage.
