Angel Down was formed originally in 2007 with current drummer LT playing the bass. They went through a few drummers and the band eventually went on hiatus. Guitar players Joel and Gordie continued to play acoustic shows and write music, while LT took his natural spot behind the drum kit in a couple other projects. Angel Down was formed originally in 2007 with current drummer LT playing the bass. They went through a few drummers and the band eventually went on hiatus. Guitar players Joel and Gordie continued to play acoustic shows and write music, while LT took his natural spot behind the drum kit in a couple other projects. In 2009 multi-talented musician, Jay Danger Graham joined the band and he, Joel and Gordie continued to write. Jay became an instant brother to Joel and Gordie. The trio auditioned countless drummers and it wasn't until they asked LT to come fill in for a show that the band was complete. The boys have just finished recording their debut album, "Sundown" at Vogville and Rock Candy studios with Producer/Engineer John Franco. Angel Downs biggest influences come from bands like, Alice in Chains, Stone Sour, Van Halen, Guns 'n Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, and many more. You can hear their influences come out in many of their songs. After sharing the stage with bands such as Econoline Crush and Melodic Blue, Angel Down is taking their live show to the next level. Angel Down are high energy, highly entertaining, and they don't leave the stage until the crowd says they are done. These hard rockers are creating a typhoon in the music scene for their over-the-top stage show and their gritty, take-charge rock. With harmonies and guitar riffs that carry through the crowd, they are sure to change the way you look at live music forever. Angel Down is really concentrating on widening their fan base and promoting their soon-to-be-released album, "Sundown". They are creating a lot of buzz, and showing the fans what they are all about when they come see a show. Angel Down is getting ready to go on tour across BC and Alberta in the spring, and however far they have to go until they are done melting faces everywhere.
