Anything That Shines: How to categorise this band? What box to put them into? A contemporary and creative blend of styles, Anything That Shines incorporates the sounds of modern rock, pop, and country while subtly throwing back to pay homage to some of the classics of our time. Fuelled by two creative kindred spirits, Anything That Shines is BJ Bulmer and Greg Crawford. Originally hailing from the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia, in 2000 Anything That Shines took the leap to base themselves out of Osaka, Japan. Keen to explore the opportunities the Asian market had to offer, the band has been vigorously performing, writing and creating in their new and inspirational environment, building a strong fan-base and following. Their newly released EP, 'New Beginnings' has been hotly received in Japan and the band are currently in the process of negotiating a deal to take their music to a larger audience back on their home shores, Australia.
