Pay @ The Pump, which consist of Archie Carter, Chris M and Johnny Dangerous. The three met in Charlotte, North Carolina. Although, Johnny and Chris have known each other since middle school and Archie and Johnny have ties to New Orleans. What first started as only doing collaborations, turned into something bigger and better, an actual group. Feeding from a mix of hip-hop ,pop and alternative, Pay @ The Pump was formed. The name actually came to Archie and Johnny while they were at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert and it stuck ever since. Although, the three don’t like to be classified into one genre of music, they only care about making good, quality music. The main goal was to create a variety of music on their debut EP, Pit Stop. The kind of music that a wide range of fans could relate to. As told by Johnny Dangerous, “We just make what we fell that day, whether we want to rock out or spit a few rhymes…” The atmosphere is always live and energetic where ever they are, even if it is just for an appearance and not an actual performance.
