The lights dim, the crowd that was just uncontrollably chanting has now silenced as they await the band that has captured their souls. A slipped giggle is heard from behind the curtain and as their intro begins so does the recurrence of screams. To newcomers surprise, the girls they’ve been hitting on all night, are now rocking them. Aroarah is comprised of 4 beautiful and talented young women that had a vision of forming their own band while still in high school. With two of them sisters and all best friends, there was no doubt that passion would be the element that fueled their music. Lydia’s warm, haunting, chill-delivering voice pairs perfectly with Morgan’s guitar melodies and heavy metal shrieks. Chelsea explores the bass with an essence of mystery and Mackenzie, a self-taught perfectionist, performs with a fiery grace. These exceptional ladies are perfect counterparts in creating a unique sound unlike anything ever heard. Aroarah maintains a performance schedule that is a testament to the fact that they are one of the hardest working bands in the business. This award-winning group has a nationally telecast Converse commercial and was featured in the December 2005 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. After Aroarah’s 2005, 6 song release, Shavo Odadjian, of System of a Down, directed the girls E.P.K. (Electronic Press Kit) and this was all followed up by a 2007 summer tour, where with the help of booking agent Jack Knoester of Power Up Records, included dates on the Vans Warped Tour. Currently Aroarah is at home in Sacramento writing new material and performing locally. Aroarah’s Manager, Gigi Yallouz of January Music Group, has obtained many endorsements for the girls only in the past few months. From ESP Guitars, Vic Firth Drum Sticks, Zildjain Cymbals to Bed Head hair products, Mac Mack-up and Sinfull & Indian Rock Wear Clothing. So far to start off 2009 Aroarah has attented The NAMM Show thanks to EMG Pickups (who are the Morgan and Chelsea's first endorsement of the year) and ESP Guitars/Basses. Morgan and Chelsea were asked to do a signing at NAMM courtesy of EMG and they, inluding Lydia, were featured artists in the 2009 ESP catalog! Aroarah met with a few new companies at the 2009 convention and great things are in the works. As for now the girls have decided to put down the make-up and hide away in the Bat Cave until the '09 album is ready for release, followed by a national tour!
