After Locking down a sets worth of music they needed a name. they started with Quick Dry Concrete, then to teasin Jesus( that one didnt go over too well), Grind Zero, and they decided through majority vote on Attempt@Nothing. Next the stage. A@N got there first show by signing up for a battle of the band. They came in second to a cover band. then they started booking shows all over San Antonio, and record the 4 song E.P. "Drunk Rock Lullabies" Over differences between the two Chris's they had to find a new drummer. Thats when Bryan came in and took over the throne. After a few short months with this line up, Chris and Bryan Jumped off Attempt@Nothing to start their own project. Once again they needed to complete A@N. They met Kyle through a myspace add and really liked his style skill, and energy for the most part. Attempt tried out a few drummers here and there, but nothing stuck. Then they came across Amy. Amy impressed A@N with her unique style and love for the drums. Complete again they hit the stages again, and recorded the 4 song Why Bother E.P. Attempt@Nothing is a high energy act, with music ranging all tempos. Bassing there sound in Punk, they fuse raw honesty with energetic and fun stage presence.
