August Never Sleeps

I am at this point a one man band And trying to get a few few songs out there to be heard as there seems to be so little inspiring our thoughts nowadays things just dont seem original and just dont take a part of you into the song and make you feel like your listening to something you can relate to. So hears my interpretation in what I create I hope people dig it.. I'm from all over the country but I really only call two places home nowadays,Salisbury MD and Roanoke VA. I'm currently in the ladder trying to make a living and playing when I can. This project is a mixture of things I've written from anywhere between now and high school. There have been several bands over the years but most of them didn't really care to hear my in put or my voice,and I just played bass. So I started recording and created these sounds that are titled under August Never Sleeps and the name comes from just being me by myself and not getting any sleep when I get into that funky mood and just play and or record all night or at least really late. August is my middle name and the never sleeps is the physical part of me being up late,some how it made since? There are so many influences it's hard to name so few but I will give it a shot,just to bring you closer to the idea of what the sound is influenced from.. It probably starts with Duran Duran and Metalica and lot of 80's like depeche mode and some electronic stuff like tangerine dream,pink floyds older stuff then led into punk with the decindents,dead milk men,the misfits,to name a few. throw in some Alice In Chains Then into the alternative area the Pixies where a huge influence and I feel still are,along with Newer influences like Elbow,The Doves,and Cold Play and then my more rocking side Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age and yeah Nirvana..
