Aurelia is a 18 year old singer-songwriter performing on both guitar & piano. Born in Paris to American parents, Aurelia was brought up in a whirlwind of travel, culture and the arts. And her songwriting reflects her affection for the nuances of language one might expect from that kind of cross-cultural immersion..... "I have been singing my whole life. I studied music at the conservatory in Paris for 3 years when I was a child. I realized that this is what I wanted to do when I was 9 years old. I started playing the piano when I was 10 years old and then the guitar about one and a half years ago.".... When Aurelia was 10 years old she began attending the Seth Riggs Summer Vocal Program in Los Angeles, taking lessons from legendary vocal coach Seth Riggs. She is currently working with vocal coach Line Hilton, a Seth Riggs associate based in London..... ......At 12, Aurelia had already taken the stage at Birdland, NYC. This year she put the finishing touches on her first EP of original material, recorded in Los Angeles with producer Rob Seals. At 15, she recorded "The Real Me" and "Fallen" with Aurelien Barbolosi and Matthieu Vatimbella. While her accomplishments seem rather worldly for such a young artist, Aurelia has her life in perspective. "Right now," she says, "my only desire is to share my music with the world - those who want to listen. And I hope that it brings them the same hope and love that I've been given all my life."
