Born in south Alabama and raised in the beautiful delta country of Arkansas, Benji White has been on a journey to leave his mark on the world of music. Ever since the first time he saw Angus Young run across a stage in his schoolboy outfit he was hooked. The melodic sounds echoing from the steel strings strung across that piece of wood sang out to his heart and captured his every thought. Continuing his journey through life he began to follow in the footsteps of his "idols" and learning every possible classic rock tune he could knowing he was born in the wrong decade. The sweet sounds of 1960 and 1970 guitar riffs echoed throughout his head as he discovered the rebel bone that ran deep through his body all the way down to his Southeast Arkansas roots. He began to experiment as he matured by combining his "greats" into one..AC/DC meets Guns N Roses meets Tom Petty meets Keith Urban...to invent his unique tonal growl coming from the speakers of his amplifier to the style his fingers moved across the fretboard. Guitar became his heartbeat. Then one day infamous day he set out to follow a new path combining it with his past guitar love to study and learn the art of penning out a great song. Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Willie Nelson, and Nirvana, just to name a few, left a mark on his songwriting he could not avoid. Benji began telling his life hopes, experiences, and dreams through song while maintaining his love for classic rock and country roots. Benji's style is to tell the facts while leaving the lyrics open for anyone going through any possible life situation. Through years of performing on and off the road, small to large venues, acts large and small, and studying under mentors of Indescribable skill, Benji has become a mature guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Currently located in Nashville, TN he is "running down a dream."
