He was raised in the southern California area, more specific, the Antelope Valley/Palmdale region, by his single mother who divorced some years ago. He is the middle child out of 5 and the most oblongish to say the least. L.o.O was and still is infatuated by anything people might deem nerdish, (i.e video games, anime and manga, even a profound love for the Star Wars series)which he is making known by his up and coming projects. L.o.O was also always a very rooted individual having grew up on many forms of Jazz, Reggae, Alternative Rock, and Electronica, all which shaped his love for Hip Hop. His influences include, Del the Funkee Homosapien, Dr. Dre, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Weezer, Sublime, The Dirty Heads, Atmosphere, The Living Legends and a slew of different and abstract artists from many genres. His style is a little edgy, yet infused with catchy metaphors, and an armory of syllable breakdowns and even tempo changes. "I always considered my writing a mix of the lyrical content of Lupe Fiasco and Common, while still drawing a crowd with swag and sophistacation like Wiz Khalifa or J.Cole".
