As a lifelong Air Force Brat, BlakFAs (aka D. Kennedy) spent most of his younger and teen years growing up outside of the US. This is where BlakFAs chose to return, honing his musical talents playing numerous clubs throughout Europe for the last 5 years.
Having written the majority of his debut EP, BlakFAs acknowledges the autobiographical nature that the CD reflects. “I’ve always envied those that were able to put their personal experiences out to the public, when they know they will be constantly judged and asked about it. So in writing this record, I wanted to lay it all on the line even if it is only for cathartic reasons.”
