Humbly beginning in Tacoma, WA in the summer of 2006 with Ryan Scott and Linzi Wilt. Blame it on the Girl quickly recorded and pressed a 3 song demo, played their first show, then relocated to Seattle. In the year following Blame it on the Girl began the search for a drummer and bass player. It didn't take long to realize that Ben Grieshaber, an acquaintance from past bands, was the perfect fit. After some sporadic shows and a couple bass players, a second release was planned. It was then the band happened across Chris Music, who joined the band and played a show with them merely a week later. Since then what had started in earnest in a small town as a recording project, is now a touring band. In the fall of 2009 they completed their first regional tour, with another to follow in the spring. With the new release on the horizon, and two already under their belt the progression of Blame it on the Girl will be something worth following.
