G.T., (born Terron Marcus Nelson in Columbus, Ohio) is an avid rap artist and music producer. He grew up in a home where eight-tracks and vinyls of Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The Ohio Players, and other famous old-school artists were listened to on a daily basis. In junior high, he began producing his own beats and recording tracks, including tracks for others, using programs such as Fruity Loops, Acid, and eventually Pro Tools. His main influences from the music industry include: Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, and Dr. Dre. G.T. is currently pushing his first solo album, “Block-O”, named after his independent label. He performs at venues across the mid-west, and most recently performed at Skully’s where he shared the stage with Keith Murray. He continuously packs the venues and blows out all other performers and is ready to expand his music career and place Columbus, Ohio on the map for good. He always reps for his hometown, Buck City, and knows there is a lot of talent ready to emerge from this part of the Midwest. “It’s nothin’ to a boss” is not only his next single but his motto for life and for music.
