 I grew up in a very influential musical family. My father a Hammond organist and pianist, my mother a passionate woman with a love for the Beatles and all the music of the 60's and 70's. As far back as I can remember I began soaking up my parents' vast record collection listening religiously to everyone from The Beatles and James Taylor to Jimmy Smith and the Ventures, paying particularly close attention to the music of John Lennon. I began to learn piano, guitar and bass when I was six years old and continued to develop. I began writing songs a few years later. I began touring professionally with different bands and artists when I was fifteen which gave me a love for traveling and connecting with people from all walks of life. My songwriting is a direct result of such encounters of real life. I moved to Austin Texas in the Spring of '97 and have been chasing and engaging in the mystery ever since.
