The album is the audio equivalent of a must see independent film.Bixby honed his writing as part of a collective of musicians who operated out of an underground warehouse known as The Space. There he fronted a rock band, Twelvehourmary, and collaborated with a wide variety of friends including Rocco Deluca, Buchanan, The Dibs, and Chris Paul Overall. Through The Space he hooked up with producer/musician Chris Karn, mastermind of Deccatree, who helped him record what would become CITY LIGHTS.Bixby has been playing shows in Southern California - from The Hotel Cafe in L.A. to various joints in Long Beach to The Gypsy Lounge and Detroit Bar in Orange County to Lestat's in San Diego...
