Brian's Curse is an original Rock/Blues Fusion group with endless jamming abilities. With each new show performed, Brian’s Curse brings an array of enthusiasm and energetic rhythm. Brian's Curse is an original Rock/Blues Fusion group with endless jamming abilities. With each new show performed, Brian’s Curse brings an array of enthusiasm and energetic rhythm. Brian 'Crew' Chrupalyk fronts the band on lead vocals, while tearing into emotional bluesy guitar solos which many compare to the likes of Joe Walsh, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Frank Terrell, compared to a young Dave Grohl both in speed and intensity, hammers the beat home on his drums while Kurt Cowhey lets his fingers do the walking on his bass guitar. The band is heavily influenced by musicians known for fusing diverse styles of music such as The Beatles, Cream, James Gang, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, and The Eagles (who inspired Brian to begin writing songs at the age of 15). In 2009 at the Hatboro Fun Festival's Battle of the Bands, Brian's Curse was declared the winner by a 3 judge panel after playing their amped up rock song "What's Your Point?", and their tongue-in-cheek faux ballad "Sensitive Song". Pre-teens and adults alike find the music to be fun and energetic. Brian’s Curse has performed for both Hatboro and Doylestown First Friday events, and everywhere from local taverns like Toweys and the Red Stallion, to Philadelphia's famous Grape Street, The Khyber and Allentown's Crocodile Rock. The band has been working hard in the studio to record their first full length record which will be released this summer! Three of the singles from the record have been used in an upcoming independent film, and the others released on their websites have been getting so much attention that this highly anticipated release is expected to launch them to the top of your iPod's recently played list.
