We have seen the music industry shift from a proving grounds of lyrics and cadence; to a business that has jeopardize the entire integrity of the culture. Granted that financial rewards in the business were at an all time high...substance and good music were at an all time low. We are now in an era where a breath of fresh air is more necessary than ever...Broadway is that. Born in Gardena, Ca to a mother struggling wit drug and alcohol addiction and a father with no interest in raising him...he was brought into this world with the odds stacked against him. Struggling as a single mother with a new born son and an ongoing drug/alcohol addiction Broadway's mother did everything in her power to provide for her son. After a while the stress of attempting to maintain a steady residence and provide for her child caught up to her. One day she dropped him off with his grandparents and never returned to pick him up. Raised in Chino Hills, CA; Broadway has always been into music. It wasn't until sophomore year that he discovered his gift of rap and never looked back. Now with a steady grind, original style and charismatic cadence; Broadway has managed to separate himself from your everyday up and coming artist. After doing shows and gaining local notoriety Broadway is at a point where he feels its now or never. He states " I've always been told that if you have a passion for what you're doing...and you work hard at that passion. Its bound to grant success" After dropping two very successful singles and one official mixtape, Broadway has been able to generate a buzz within a 100 mile radius of his hometown. "I've only had the the privilege of goin hard with music for a couple months now. For what I've accomplished in this small amount of time...I feel there's nothing that can stop our journey." With a team behind him that shares his faith and determination, 2010 is bound to be a successful year for Broadway.
