At age sixteen, she taught herself to play the piano by ear, and began composing her own music & lyrics. Three years later,at the age of 19, she has devised a comprehensive and wide-ranging repertoire of authentic, innovative music.Among CALLIA's influences are Cher, Alicia Keys, Leonard Cohen, Jimmi Hendrix, Madonna, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Drake, Amy Winehouse, Lenny Kravitz, Kanye West, Guns N' Roses, Calvin Harris, Aerosmith, Prince, Jack White, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, KISS, U2 and GaGa. Her particular musical style would utilize big, industrial dance synths and metal drums, mixed with heart and soul, and slow, Sade-like mysterious rock.
