Claire is a well-known singer and actress In Israel. Over the years she has had leading roles in many musical productions including The Sound of Music, Hair, The Jungle Book, Copa Cabana, Jekyll & Hyde and many others. At the age of 14 Claire heard the legendary voice of Barbara Streisand for the first time, and was inspired. She knew then she was destined to become a professional singer. Claire took her first singing lessons with Daniel Amarillo, the man she still refers to as her “spiritual teacher”. Shortly thereafter she also began taking piano and harmony lessons to further herself as a professional singer. For the duration of her compulsory military service, Claire was a solo singer in the Israeli Army Orchestra. Immediately following her release from the army she enrolled in Tel Aviv’s renowned “Beit Zvi” school of performing arts. Claire is a unique singer whose colorful voice gives her the ability to sing in a wide range of styles such as Pop, R&B, Classical and Jazz. Other than Hebrew, she also sings in English and French. Daniel Amarillo, Claire’s life long coach, used to tell Claire that she is “a singer of international quality …” Sadly, Daniel passed away 12 months ago. Claire is now pursuing her dream and striving to fulfill her teacher’s vision. She wants to be an international singer. She wants to make records in English and she is certain her voice will touch the people who hear her songs. Claire wants to utilize her talents to make her dreams come true.
