Closer To The Fall is a metal/hardcore outfit from the High Desert in Southern California. The band is comprised of musicians who, from the start, were in perfect sync with each other. From the first jam session to the first show Closer To The Fall has been a machine that has been unbreakable. Striving to break out of the breakdown oriented metal that is dominating the underground currently, Closer To The Fall is putting all of their energy into being different. Something fresh for metal music. Incorporating styles from punk, blues, and several other music styles, Closer To The Fall is truly a different kind of group. There are 6 songs that are recorded and being put onto and EP entitled "Forfeit The Storm" due for release in August '08. Current scheduling puts the band back into the studio in late '08 to early '09. So stay tuned and see what Closer To The Fall has to offer you!
