Cold Hearts Entertainment is a four man crew of Hartford CT based artists each with different styles. Cold Hearts Entertainment is a four man crew of Hartford CT based artists each with different styles. Members are rappers Young X(20), Double G Chi(22), MC Lion(24) and singer/rapper Hazard(26).The members of Cold Hearts Entertainment were in other groups before coming together as a four man crew in early 2008. Double G Chi was originally a member of C4 in his early teens (C4 was short for Connecticut Four), a group that included Cold Hearts main video director Nickel [J.Sanchez Prod] . Despite being slighly hearing impaired Chi found that he had a love for music as did his brother MC Lion at an early age. The group had a minor internet hit "Lets Get Gergy"(which had a similar sound to Redman's "Lets Get Dirty") , unfortunatly the success was short lived when B2K bought out the rights to the beat they were using for an album track. After several lineup changes the all members except for Chi quit rapping all together for various reasons.Chi continued rapping as a solo MC under several psuedonyms as well as developing skills in producing beats and digital art. MC Lion often rapped along side his brother's team but never recorded with them despite performong in talent shows using beats that they didn't use, at the time he was pursueing a career in Jazz music as a trumpet player and only rapped as a hobby.MC Lion met Hazard during their sophomore year in high school after Hazard moved to Hartford from Brooklyn. Hazard was a singer at the time dancing in a hip hop group that performed the same venues as MC Lion. After a short stint with a singing quintet Lion and Hazard formed DNA Entertainment in 2002 during senior year (DNA was short for De'Andre N Asaad, Hazard's and MC Lion's first names respectively). Both of them honed their craft as songwriters and producers making their own beats. DNA combined Smooth R&B with a Hip Hop edge and had a minor local hit "Chocolate Covered Strawberries" which recevied airplay on local college stations. In 2006 DNA had trouble with rights to the name DNA and breifly changed their name to Out da Woodwurks before taking a break from recording in 2007. After several collaborations on beats with Chi, Cold Hearts was born in late 2007. Young X who is also a member of Raw ENT (a.k.a. Rude Boyz) began to work with Chi on a mixtape together before becoming an official member of Cold Hearts in the spring of 2008.CHE released an EP in September 2008 entitled "Music is my Hustle".
