Colorshow is an American pop/hip-hop band that formed California in 2006. The group is composed of lead vocalist Kendal Naughton, vocalist/MC Galen Gifford, producer/vocalist Nava Plotsky and Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Benjamin Cooper. The genesis of the Colorshow family began in Lake Tahoe, where four friends from very diverse musical backgrounds came together in a cabin in the snow to celebrate, write and record what would become their debut album Freak Your Heart Out. Since the album’s release the band has been featured in film, television and a wide array of new media outlets. Their sound has been described as “Outkast meets Fleetwood Mac,” an energetic blend of up-tempo hip-hop infused with rich melodic textures and undeniably catchy pop hooks.
