He came to them from TKO Records band Reducers SF. Scott helps keep things honest and brings a bit of a punk edge to Control-R's sound. Manny's love of math rock, Bobby's love of metal, Christy's love of improv, and Kathryn's love of gamelan also influence Control-R's diverse, yet fully grounded in pop, sound.The one thing that all the members of Control-R can agree on is that this is definitely the poppiest band that any of them have ever been in.
