Dana and Lauren started their professional music career at the age of 14 in their bluegrass band the Shankman Twins and their single “Waterbound” spent 15 months on the Bluegrass Charts. With Malibu Storm and The Shankman Twins, Dana and Lauren toured all over the world for over 12 years, performing at top music festivals (CMA Fan Fest, Grey Fox, RockyGrass, etc), radio stations, television appearances, and concerts, including numerous appearances at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
