Da Ritz is a group of three young and upcoming artists representing Da Fort Greene section of Brooklyn N.Y. Members of Da Ritz Mel (Shamel R. Kelly 18) Wop (Travis D. Bennett 18), and DC (Felton Wiggins 19) The members of Da Ritz are three close Cousins who grew up listening to all types and genres of music and have developed an open mind to different sounds. Since the ages of twelve they have been building their sound and are now ready to bring it to the world of hip hop and music. From inspiring hip hop instrumentals to the recent sounds of hip hop today, they have educated themselves to develop a sound that our youth today will enjoy and remember. They have been working the studios continuously and have been on top of every project that they have encountered thus far. They are currently doing shows across New York City, introducing their music and building a fan base. They are also preparing themselves to hit other towns and cities soon. Since their First live performance they have received nothing but standing ovation and drawn crowds to their attention from young to old. Some of the venues they have performed at thus far are: Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar on 72nd street, THE SHRINE in Harlem, Bowery Poetry Club in lower Manhattan, and The Knitting Factory to name a few. They have just release their first Mixtape to the public this past October titled "Step up to the Scale" V.1, which includes twelve (too hot to skip) tracks. They have already completed music for three more volumes and is still recording. Da Ritz is also recording a reality show for all their YOUTUBE family and friends called “Chillin with Da Ritz”. This reality show will cover their journey to stardom and will give their fans a chance to know them as individuals.
