In the spring of 2008 the current and final incarnation of Days Off Screen was formed. That summer the band played close to 50 shows rolling through several states and receiving a great deal of critical acclaim and media attention. In the spring of 2008 the current and final incarnation of Days Off Screen was formed. That summer the band played close to 50 shows rolling through several states and receiving a great deal of critical acclaim and media attention. In July, after signing up two months late, the band was chosen to play a slot on the Charlotte date of The Vans Warped Tour. The summer before Days opened for EleventySeven (Sony/BMG) at Cornerstone Festival. The band placed in several battle of the bands through out North and South Carolina, during the late summer early fall months. In October Days was asked to be the entertainment for “Masquerade on Main,” a several hundred thousand dollar black tie affair. Earlier that month the band purchased a shuttle bus in preparation for touring in 09 and gave the name "Big Ben" to him. In November the band continued to travel and began writing the next EP entitled “On the Rebound”. The first week of December was spent at Habitat for Humanity with long time friends Philmont (EMI/Forefront). The band returned to the studio in late December to begin work on their “On the Rebound" EP, which was completed in early July, and is now available on I-Tunes. The EP includes“In Love with a Scientist" "Kristina", "Center of Space, Time," "Andrew and Emily," "Your Year on Mars," and the energetic “Stepping Stone”. Days has built a good resume of headlining bands they have played with such as, Amber Pacific, Stellar Kart, EleventySeven, Sent by Ravens, Say You Will, and Life on Repeat just to name a few. Days Off Screenspent the first nine months of 2009 playing 40 plus shows including "Ampalooza Festival" In Rock Falls, Illinois, writing new tunes, and looking for business opportunities to take them to the next step. In October "Days" went on tour with Philmont on "The Real Rock Show" tour and are currently looking for ways to take their music to the next level!!
