Deadbeat Darling released their debut full-length album Weight of Wandering during the summer of 2009, and followed the release with a run of shows throughout the East Coast, Texas, and the Midwest. Deadbeat Darling released their debut full-length album Weight of Wandering during the summer of 2009, and followed the release with a run of shows throughout the East Coast, Texas, and the Midwest. Upon returning to New York they began playing a string of sold-out shows that has still yet to end. In the past two years Deadbeat Darling participated in some of the country's most esteemed music festivals, including Austin's South by Southwest and New York City's CMJ, and toured in support of platinum-selling artist Blue October during the summer of 2009. The band is currently working on material for a second full-length album and expanding regional touring markets, including debut trips to the West Coast and Southeast.
