DEE-TAY THA RAPPER Deonte Ke'juan Brantley, but better known as DEE-TAY THE RAPPER, was originally from Houston, Tx, but resigns in Fresno, Tx, at the moment. He was born on April 26,1992, to the parents of Debra and Don Brantley. He gotten to liking music at an early age. At six years old, one of his uncles taught him how to rap and how to be succesful in doing it. He also taught him that he will have to work hard for whatever he wants because it would not be giving to him that easy. DEE-TAY kept that in mind because he knows that he will have to do it, in order, to become a recording artist on a record label. So now at age 16, music is apart of his life bigger than he could ever dreamed it could be. He can not go without a day, recording a song. He'll usuallly does about 3 or 4 songs before he'll take a break to rest his vocals. His first performance was in elementary at his schools pep rally. After, he was done performing the crowd was very shocked and the reason why because they never knew that he was that talented. From, that on he knew he had to be a rapper because after getting positive feedback from his fellow peers he knew he could have a chance to getting signed to a record deal. DEE-TAY THE RAPPER, is now currently working on his demo, for record companies to hear. He believes you have to be different when you are in the music industry, so he develop his on style of being a rap artist. Whenever, he gets signed, he hopes to start a foundation for kids to prevent AIDS because he knows it is running rapidly in the world and wants to help kids understand that abstinence is the important thing you should keep. He wants to be the best role model to children that he could be. He doesn't uses profanity because he thinks it would not get everyones attention. He always has his mind focus, he also sets goals for his self because if you do not have a goal then how can you accomplish something.
