Being able to back it up with energetic and memorable live performances, Disaster Strike is the premiere Deathmetal band in the tri-state area. Here is a quick bio... Disaster Strike was formed in the winter of 2004 by founding memebers Prkr(vocals), Mike Morrisey(drums), and Matt Cece(Guitar). Playing bass guitar was Brian Cervino. Shorly after Brian was increasingly busy with his other Project, Huma, and more or less left Disaster Strike. After continuing on for a couple of months as a 3 piece, the band enlisted the help of bass player extrodinare: Beto Grillo, fitting in like a puzzle piece. The band quickly began writting material for live performances. 7 Songs were quickly written within a year and 4 more soon after. After a slew of live shows the band turn their attention to their greatest test. Song 12 is a 25 minute epic that won't soon be forgotten by those who have experienced it live. Taking well over a year to conceive and execute song 12 is a true display of hardwork, forward thinking, and just plain talent a band can exude. Now after completing song 12 the band is now in the studio putting the finishing touches on their long awaited "DEATH BOMB" cd. And then heads right back into the studio to record the epic song 12 as a stand-alone companion piece to Death Bomb.
