Disease Within is a Maryland based original band of experienced punk, metal, and jazz musicians. People have compared them to Tool, Opeth, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Helmet, Nirvana, System of Down, The Deftones, and Corrosion of Conformity. Their music is heavy and clearly jazz influenced with lyrics that are irreverent and thought provoking.
