Dominique Demetice Farrar (born December 21, 1991 in Saint Paul, MN) better known as Dominoe Ch’Yea is an American Rapper, Singer and Engineer. Mixing Pop, Reggae, Soul, Hip-hop and rap altogether, Dominoe has grown from a rapper into a inventive and productive artist. As the Founder of One Life Enterprise, Dominoe takes the role as entrepreneur, artist, manager and business man all in one making his success more supreme than the others around him. His career turned a new leaf when he hired music manager Ellen Harris (Fat Ellen) to direct him to a new direction in the industry. With gaining a connection from Konvict Musik, Dominoe introduced his single “Rhythm” to Scott E. McDowell (Former Director of Artist Development, Konvict Musik)he immediately set up a plan for him. Dominoe was placed in foster care as an infant along with his brother Tony “Showtime” Farrar. Bouncing from house to house due to Tony's hostile nature as a child, Dominoe found himself in Maplewood. MN living with Toya Farrar-Orr. Toya raised them in Camphor United Methodist Church. As the years went by more kids came through and out of Dominoe’s home, he began to feel as though he was over looked and forgotten. He began to search for ways to express himself, sports didn't go as well as he planned and in school he was an outcast. When he was introduced to choir at church he took a liking to the sounds he made through his vocals. He never had the guts to actually become a part of the choir. He began singing to himself as he walked, rode his bike and in the car. It was 3rd grade when he was introduced to poetry which he quickly turned into rap. It seemed to be more tough then singing to his peers as of rapping. Due to his creative train of thought he had a sort of twisted view of the world. Through every rhyme he dropped it was always different than those of his peers. Since his family was heavy into the tradition of church he was into gospel rap, making artists like John Reuben and Grits his role models. One artist that stood out the most to him was Pigeon John. It was Pigeon who gave Dominoe the name "Dominoe Jonez" at a concert in Bemidji, MN. Dominoe granted with his new name quickly began to get his reputation as a rapper up amongst peers and family. It was in 9th grade when he began actually considering making what he did as a career. He Enrolled in AFSA High School with no idea as to how he would make it work. He slowly began to fail with his education. By the 11th grade he had a daughter and still no future. His principle Becky Myers noticed his musical talent daily cause all he did was roam the halls rapping and singing. It was the talent show that gave her the idea to try to get him enrolled in a school that was music oriented. Luckily she had a connection with Bryan Rossi education director at the High School for Recording Arts. After one visit to the school Dominoe instantly fell in love with its Hip Hop persona, he felt as if he belonged. Some of the people he’s worked with would amaze many at the stage he’s in. He’s done vocal lessons with James Grear, mentoring and artist development with Troy Taylor, marketing and Promoting with Scott E. McDowell . He’s currently working on tracks produced by Bad Boy producer Battle Roy and Dipset producer, A-Million. He’s done appreciable amount of collaboration work with local as well as national hip hop artists (Mike Dreams, Johnny Magma, Etc). He’s also working on an acting project with Talent Agent Ryan Hayden from the "Ideal Talent Agency" In Los Angeles, California. With an idealistic mind and aggressive work ethic, Dominoe has what it takes to lead a new perspective into the industry, making him the youngest artist to want to attack each area that the industry displays.
