When you combine the mixture of rock metal and rap the results can be a lyrically explosive experience. The Austin, Texas based group "Done Deal" is a raw Rock/Rap band that is taking the stage by storm. Nominated for best group of the year at the Austin, Texas Hip/Hop Awards 2009, each members bring a special flavor that creates a high voltage of energy from the rock with the mixture of the serious lyric of Luckie the lead vocal of the group. You would never believe that they all met on the Craig list not long ago, Luckie lead vocal, Reese on lead guitar, who feeds off the crowd and vise versa, Raul on drums, nickname Donkey Kong for the way he plays with high energy level, Wes who kicks off the whole show with his bouncing and jumping all over the stage and he is the responsible one of the group, then there's DJ Rockwell aka Rocks, knockin' out the beats on the 1's & 2's. They all stated that it feel as if we have known and played together forever. The group first live performance before a few thousands was at the One People Music Festival held in Hempstead, Florida where their hit single I Rock Hip Hop had the crowd jumping up and down and feeling the un-norm music of Done Deal, Luckie states, we have felt the impact of love for our music from the crowd and know that we are creating and delivering the new sound on the street. As they have only been together for a short period of time, they have made an impact in the industry with opening for Lil' Flip a few times and Tum Tum also. This has given them the reinsurance they needed to continue on their quest to bring a style of music that is diversified and accepted in both categories. The band is currently in the studio working on there debut album A New Breed with standout tracks like "I Rock Hip Hop" "Like This" and "In The Building" Done Deal can count on loads of future success. Inspiration for the bands music comes from many different genres of music and different artists such as eminem, limp bizkit, system of a down, korn, in flames, explosions in the sky, likin park, opeth, and so on and so on.
