However, as you read, and listen deeper into the words used by me; you will realize that a story like mine is rare; very rare.    My stage name is TrueStory, mainly because I try to keep the rap realistic as possible. I enjoy relating to my fans a lot more than I'd enjoy bragging to my fans. To be quite frank... I don't really have anything to brag about anyways. Even if I did though, I still wouldn't be on that.   I try to keep my music true as possible. Some songs may come off as unrealistic. Well, not my songs; but some of my lyrics may seem unrealistic. That's just me having fun, adding a little flare to a track.    Ohh, looks like I forgot to mention my name! Whoops! My name is Christopher Rowe-Porter. I was raised by a single mother in a broken home. As a young child life seemed good, I was fairly spoiled to be honest. When suddenly, shortly after I hit ten; I was in for a reality check. My mother had became extremely injured and could no longer work. My family had to move into Public Housing, and it has been that way for the past six years. I started rapping at the age of 12 just as a way to vent and have fun. At first, it started off as freestyle rapping. Then I began to write freeverses, and afterwards; full blown songs! Most of these songs describe either my hatred for my city, the people who reside in it, pain and life suffering, poverty, drugs, cops, and anything else that is considered real; and that I have experienced.   I love music, and truly believe I can accomplish all goals and dreams in this life.
