ELECTRIC THURSDAY

well the band started about half way through 2009 around august. I met Cameron Moffett (drummer) in my economics class,we sat right next to each other an just so happens we both wanted a band. I had seen mattew herrera(guitarist) around campus before, we had previously met on a summer school bus an only knew eachother by bus kid 1 an 2. One day the school had open mic and matt was getting ready to play purple haze from jimi hendrix when they called out for a bassist. i was thrown to the stage...

well the band started about half way through 2009 around august. I met Cameron Moffett (drummer) in my economics class,we sat right next to each other an just so happens we both wanted a band. I had seen mattew herrera(guitarist) around campus before, we had previously met on a summer school bus an only knew eachother by bus kid 1 an 2. One day the school had open mic and matt was getting ready to play purple haze from jimi hendrix when they called out for a bassist. i was thrown to the stage and handed an acuostic bass guitar which they had miced for me.this was the first time me an matt had ever played together an the first time we had caught each others names.I wanted him to join up with me an cameron but i didnt have the nerves to ask him to join he was a great guitar player and i thought he prolly had his own thing going. Little did i know matthew and cameron had a past an had previously had a band before i met them. so the one day cameron had scheduled a practice i was thinking it would be me an him jamming but he said he had a guitarist in mind. To my surprise it was in fact matt. We jammed out all day and that just so happened to be a thursday an it would continue to be on a thursday for the next 9 weeks in a row. We spend forever trying to come up with a name at point it was house of lords lol. Then on one thursday something must have not been grounded right because we we went to play we got zapped and then it ELECTRIC THURSDAY! was born and the name has just stuck ever since. Me and matt currently reside in hesperia CA and Cameron has now moved down to Oceanside CA.
