Ellerker formed in 2006 and had several releases including The EP and The Acoustic EP. After gaining several sponsorships (including Ernie Ball) and formulating the majestic stage presence that they are renowned for, Ellerker took a two year hiatus in 2008 to pursue other musical genres in various other bands. 2010 sees the return of Ellerker, bigger than ever. The 5 piece consists of Mitch (Mermaids in the Basement) on vocals, Ace (The Smallvilles, Mikki Jay) on lead guitar, Charlie (Mermaids in the Basement) on rhythm guitar, Kye on bass and Beau (The Smallvilles, A Room With A View) on drums. This eclectic mix of musicians is the foundation for Ellerker's melodic post-hardcore sound for which they have become known.
