Emily Heath is a 21 year old solo singer from Stafford. She comes from a musical family, and has been writing music since she was 13, and has been performing her songs since she was 19. She mainly uses an acoustic guitar, but occasionally incorporates the electric guitar and the ukulele. She is currently a Sociology and History student, but hopes to pursue a career in the music industry. She is currently a Sociology and History student, but hopes to pursue a career in the music industry. She describes her music as 'anti-folk'-punk pop, and takes a wide range of influences including The Moldy Peaches, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bikini Kill, The Smiths, Russell Brand & Matt Morgan and Regina Spektor. She will be playing in the Ye Olde Rose & Crown Pub in Walthamstow in London on 3oth October, but also frequently plays local gigs around Staffordshire.
