Erica P. (born Erica Pullins) competed with hundreds of young women around the country winning membership in the platinum international recording group, Blaque. She completed the Blaque Germany Tour as well as the Blaque Switzerland and the Amsterdam Tour; featuring Missy Elliot and Sean Paul. Erica soon had fans recognizing her on the streets of Europe. When the group, Blaque became inactive, Erica P. returned to her home in Cincinnati, OH. Erica has been working with focused, determination, building a career as a solo, R&B/ Pop mixed with Hip Hop singer. Erica’s international, platinum level experience alerted her to the tight performance standards necessary to achieve that level of success. Erica’s ambitions are large, she was born into the entertainment business. Noticing Erica’s comfortable stage presence, an interviewer asked if Erica felt ‘at home’ on stage. Erica P. replied, “…At home?…I am straight-up in the kitchen.” Erica was formally trained in her craft at Cincinnati’s celebrated, School For Creative & Performing Arts. She was a vocal music and drama major; landing many leading roles, including “The Odyssey” and “The Giving Tree”. Erica P will be debuting in the independent film, “Who U Gonna Serve”, which will enter production in 2010. Erica has done commericials for, Big K Pop with Lebron James and Bernie Mac which were produced by the Rock & Roll Hal of Fame Legend, Bootsy Collins. Erica was a member of a first place national dance team, “The Stridetts”. She was also featured in Cincinnati’s Best Talent Showcase as a member of the “Emfamoz and Enfusion” dance team. Erica has cut tracks with producers: Zapp and Lester Troutman, Rob Mac ATL, (now with APZ Entertainment) David Griffin with Ridikulus Entertainement, Chris Powell at Star Studios. She has opened for national recording artists such as Trey Songz, Ram-Z (of TVT Records). She has participated in the WIZ Radio 101.1 FM Summer Concert Series and the Paul Brown Stadium Riverfront Classic. Erica P’s lyrics bear witness to her keen focus on the language and minds of today’s culture. She works closely with the producer directing unique layers of her own voice, the affect is powerful and fresh; she creates a “signature sound”. Erica P is an all around entertainer. She has an energetic stage presence, she pumps up the audience and leads them to participate. Erica P performs with a team of dancers who have been working hard with her and it shows. Erica P was declared the 2010 “Best in the Midwest” by the Midwest DJ and Urban Music Conference judges.
