Falcon Punch started in the summer of 2008. Five friends created the band together: Anisha Patel (Vocals), Katherine Borderud (Guitar), Chris Salavitch (Keys/Synth), Sloan Cloke (Bass), and Katelyn Cavaleri (Drums). After performing at their school\'s talent show, they decided to perform more shows around the KC Metro area. Falcon Punch loves to combine upbeat pop feel with synthesizer leads, while keeping the rock feel alive with strong hooks, and catchy lyrics.

Falcon Punch won the 2009 Jiggle Jam family festival battle of the bands, and played with Grammy winners They Might Be Giants. Later on in 2010, Falcon Punch was chosen to be in an online battle of the bands to open for esteemed band EVERCLEAR by pop radio station Mix933. Falcon Punch was voted second by 50 votes in all of Kansas City. Falcon Punch writes our own music and lyrics, and we hope that you enjoy our music just as much as we enjoy performing.
